Excellent, sharp-looking tux I finally took the plunge and purchased a tux for a friend's wedding in which I was a groomsman. The 1818 Fitzgerald tuxedo looked great! It is a deep black and the fit is classic and sharp. It was not too slim, but certainly had a tailored look. I am happy with this purchase and thoroughly enjoyed wearing the tuxedo. November 23, 2011

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Our 1818 One-Button Fitzgerald Tuxedo is indeed offered with trousers. You may choose to alter them at the waist and the inseam and you may also choose to have the hem cuffed or uncuffed.

A vent on a suit jacket is a formal concept for tailored clothing. You cannot seal a vent, only stitch it up, which might leave an unsightly pucker.

1) On the jacket, can the pocket flaps be tucked into the pocket? My understanding is that exposed pocket flaps are not appropriate for traditional evening wear. 2) Are the pants solid black or do they feature a vertical satin "stripe," as is more traditional?
