Rated 5 out of 5 by A PERFECT BOOK ABOUT RAISING YOU CHILDREN Maybe you may think that I am conservative or old fashioned, however I found this Book called "50 Things Every Young Gentleman Should Know" very enlightening and reminded me of the things that my parents taught me to do, when to do it, and why. I can assure you that this Book will help with almost every possible situation in teaching your child of the important and less important ways of living. I must emphasise that I do not see it as a Rule Book but rather a way of showing your children the acceptable ways of living. Of course, I would be naive in believing that everyone would think the same way I do or that of the authors of the Book. Therefore, why not buy the book and use those parts that you believe would be important for your children and changing some of the other chapters to suit your needs. All the best with the Book and the raising of your children! October 28, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great to Have Handy This book was filled with all sorts of neat little tidbits for the young gentleman that are relevant to their generation. I have two boys, 11 and 13. I just left this book out handy where they would come across it (at the table where they eat after school snacks) and they have both willingly picked it up and enjoyed reading it. My 11 year old has even eager about putting some of the advice into practice. May 12, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by One stop advice for teaching manners to boys This book has all the information you need to teach your son or any boy the essentials of manners. From formal etiquette issues to private manners, the book is easy to use and easy to understand. Even a 6 year old boy could grasp what it says (and I say this as the mother of a son who is age 6)! The 50 things every young gentleman should know will help a boy to be successful in almost every situation he will find himself in life. It would make a good present and is a great resource for parents. January 13, 2010
