Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Our All-Cotton Regular Fit Micro Twill Alternating Gingham Luxury Dress Shirt may indeed be worn without a tie. You may even find that when worn beneath a sport coat, jacket or sweater, the English Spread collar will prevent you from having to adjust or pull the collar back beneath the coat since it extends wider. Most importantly though, you should always feel free to experiment with different collar styles, cuff styles and shirt fits because you may stumble on to a look that complements both your face and body shape.
