Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Our Allen Edmonds for Brooks Brothers Leather Captoes do indeed run true-to-size. Based off customer feedback, there is no reason for us to recommend that you size up or down for a proper fit. Of course, you may always exchange the shoes or return them if you are not pleased.

I am trying to decide between the Allen Edmonds for Brooks Brothers Leather Captoes and the other cap toes that you offer ( listed as perforated cap toes) It seems the perforated captoe is made by Allen Edmonds as well, priced the same , and look very very similar to the other shoe. Please indicate the main differences between the two shoes. Thanks

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. There is very little to distinguish between our Perforated Captoe and the Allen Edmonds for Brooks Brothers Leather Captoe, other than the perforation detail on the mainline offering. Other than that, these shoes are quite similar, both have Goodyear welting and a poron cushion for comfort. Indeed both are even made in America. Either selection will surely impress.
