Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Quality and Comfort This shoe is very comfortable right out of the box. The fit is true to size, I wear a 7.5D and these fits perfectly. They look plain but when you inspect them up close you can see the quality and craftsmanship that went into the making of this shoe. This is my first Allen Edmonds and I am indeed happy with my purchase. I have worn them a few times and it seems that they get more comfortable the more you wear them. The best part is that these shoes are made here in the U.S.A.! June 5, 2013

Based off customer feedback, there is no reason for us to recommend that you size up or down for a proper fit. Of course, you may always exchange the shoes or return them if you are not pleased.

I am trying to decide between the Allen Edmonds for Brooks Brothers Leather Captoes and the other cap toes that you offer ( listed as perforated cap toes) It seems the perforated captoe is made by Allen Edmonds as well, priced the same , and look very very similar to the other shoe. Please indicate the main differences between the two shoes. Thanks

Answer: 
They are both made by Allen Edmonds and both exactly the same except for the perforated cap toe. The plain toe shoe is the Allen Edmonds Park Avenue, and the perf toe is the Allen Edmonds Fifth Avenue.

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. There is very little to distinguish between our Perforated Captoe and the Allen Edmonds for Brooks Brothers Leather Captoe, other than the perforation detail on the mainline offering. Other than that, these shoes are quite similar, both have Goodyear welting and a poron cushion for comfort. Indeed both are even made in America. Either selection will surely impress.

The Brooks Brothers Allen Edmonds edition shoes feature a repp striped slip resistant treatment on ball of the shoe. Otherwise, they are identical, made with the same care and attention to detail Allen Edmonds has become famous for.
