Correction, this bag has a "Sport Tanned" finish. This is a more unique tannage used in the luxury market. It is used for unstructured handbags, weekenders, footwear, belts creating a sporty effect. The result is a waxy finish, soft hand, and sporty chic effect.

There are two types of tanning for alligator and other exotic skins, Glaze Tanned and Sport Tanned. The most familiar is “Glaze Tanned” which creates a high shine. This specific item has that finish.
