good quality compared to the formal cravat, this one is built much better (well it is just a rectangular fabric with patterns). no fraying or loose threads. because the shape of this cravat is like that of a standard rectangular scarf (not with the tapered tips similar to a necktie), i find it a bit more versatile to wear/tie it. some might argue this is merely an overpriced small silk scarf.
