Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I expected... I had shopped for a shawl neck sweater for a while, bouncing between the BB and one from another retailer. I went with the BB one because it was wool and not cotton. Warmth was the biggest part of my decision, and the local store did not have one like it, but had similar lambswool sweaters and fit. When it arrived today, I tried it on, and there is no way to comfortably wear it with just a t-shirt, it is far to "wooly" feeling, kind of like the socks in the old days that were 100% itchy wool. I have some made of saxxon and merino, and this seems the cheap option. The clasp as stated above is some black plastic thing as opposed to the wooden one in the pic, it just seems cheap compared to other things I have purchased from BB. I plan to return it...not impressed. December 7, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing Overall, I really like the sweater. I was however, not terribly pleased with the toggle clasp. I nonetheless thought that I could have lived with it. Note, that the clasp in the picture appears to be made of wood. While, I do not particularly care for it, it is at least somewhat handsome. When I received my sweater today, the toggle clasp on it was not the wooden, classy one shown, but a very cheap plastic one. To add insult to injury, the clasp is greenish in color. I maybe could have lived with a navy blue one that matched the sweater. Perhaps it is a bit nit-picky, but I do not think that I can tolerate this clasp on the sweater. As for my "Fit" rating, take that with a grain of salt because I am really skinny, and I like my clothes tighter-fitting that most people prefer. October 3, 2012
