G & R Tie Not Just For Xmas The Brooks Brothers Green & Red Argyle and Sutherland Repp Tie is actually their excellent rendition of the famous Princess Louise Regimental. She was one of the daughters of England's Queen Victoria and married the 9th Duke of Argyll who was a former Canadian Governor General. Yes, she had her own regiment and they their own regimental. Nice Tie This is a very nice tie. The only thing I noticed is that is a little shorter than previous Brooks Brothers ties. In fact it is nearly 2 inches shorter than I am accustomed. Still a very nice tie. February 1, 2012
