Rated 1 out of 5 by The line pattern doesn't fit with the tie When I received the item, it was very disappointed about the quality, couldn't believe it was a BB tie, the lines of the tie do not fit whit the cut, I wrote to custom services pointed out that and expecting a response, but silence was the seal. Amazing surprise from BB! December 26, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by It won't last forever This tie is an absolute classic and makes a beautiful knot. The thread is gorgeous and vibrant especially the burgundy and gold versions. The silk holds its crispness. The edges of the tip do tend to fray over a year or more of regular use. I now rotate this tie in my collection but do wish the material was a little more substantial. Rated 5 out of 5 by Classic Tie I bought this tie to wear with a white shirt and black suit on a day when I had seven job interviews. The red "power tie" may be a bit cliche, but this tie manages to make a statement while retaining some subtlety. I've received multiple complements on it, and it has quickly become one of my go-to ties. One caveat if you are wearing this with a spread collar: This tie makes for a pretty slim knot if you use the simple four-in-hand method. With an Ainsley collar Brooks shirt, I ended up using a windsor knot to fill the space. August 10, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 Repp Ties: from Business to Dinner I like the Repp ties in particular, as they can transition sartorially from big meeting days, to dinner or a concert out. Repp ties never go out of style, and the quality is such that they last many years longer than the competition, or even bespoke ties. January 19, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice tie but the silk fabric was stiff--not easy t Great looking tie, expect it to wear well but softer silk fabric in the tie would be an improvement. September 8, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Classic Tie I chose this tie because it was so similar to my worn-out Liberty tie that goes so well with all my dress clothes. Imagine my surprize when the tie arrived and the ONLY difference was the width! I don't know how you did it but this tie is a classic beauty everyone should own! March 16, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Tie That Says, "I Can Handle Anything" There is something intangible and wonderful about the BB#1, especially the burgundy with gold stripes. It's something like perfection, or maybe not quite, but when you put it on it, you feel like you can take on anything. It's a Brooks icon, and immediately recognizable in movies and on the street. The 346 version is not quite as nice as the retail store but both are above most ties on the market, and both are Made in the USA. May 26, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lots of Compliments I have received a surprising number of compliments on this seemingly conservative tie. It goes really well with a navy blazer or a gray suit. Unlike some of the other silk ties, the fabric allows you to tie a pretty tight knot if you like. Overall, a great tie. July 5, 2010
