Rated 4 out of 5 by A great, basic tie, but best bought in-store These ties are the right width--neither too wide nor too narrow. Personally, I think the BB#3 Repp Tie, with its pencil stripe (or almost-pencil stripe), is the most classic offered by BB and has great versatility. The silk is nice, though it could be thicker and weightier. But my only real complaint is the color. For many of the color combinations, the website photo is not true to the actual color. For example, the light blue with pink stripe. In reality, the light blue is practically an electric shade of light blue, NOT a baby blue. And the pink is more like a salmon color and is not a light pink. January 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pink stripes on navy I bought one of these online (in pink stripes on navy), the stripes are bolder than I thought, which could either be good or bad depending on your preferred style. For me, it's a great choice for less formal occasions, but if you are looking for something more versatile and subtle, go for the navy-white combination. July 21, 2011

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Our BB#3 Repp Tie is a classic choice and a customer favorite here at Brooks Brothers. While we do not have plans to expand the selection to include the colors maroon and gold, we do offer burgundy and gold, which is very similar.
