Rated 1 out of 5 by Defective materials and workmanship After 1 season the inside pocket seams broke, a button became loose and the outside of the pocket came apart. My drycleaner said the inside lining is not designed well which results in puckers each time it is drycleaned. I asked BB to give me a store credit, but they refused. They repaired the coat quickly and did a good job, cleaned it and sent it next day ups. Hopefully this will be the last of the problems with it, but I cannot recommend it. It is nicely tailored and looks good, but mine was not worth the $900 I spent on it. February 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent overcoat for cold weather I have this coat in both black and charcoal. I purchased the charcoal coat in my suit size to wear over suits and the black coat in a size down to wear without a suit. Both fit well and are well worth the money. If you plan to purchase this coat select in your normal suit size. I wear a 40s in the Fitzgerald, Regent and Madison models and a 42s in the Milano and bought the coat in a 40s. I wear a 38 short suit jacket/sport coat. I bought the coat in 38 Short, and it is properly sized to fit over my jacket/sport coat.

Is this coat sized to fit over a suit, or should it be ordered one size up? Example, if you wear a size 40 suit, should you order a size 40 or 42 coat?

the lady in the coat dept actually got a suit jacket for our son to put on to test that. He wore the same size with the suit jacket as witout.
