Nice coat with one cost-cutting measure I purchased this coat for my girlfriend. The quality of the camel is very good and the coat has some heft to it. Not quite as nice as a cashmere coat, but pretty close. It fits well, and as others have noted, has a flattering curve to it without having to use a belt. My only complaint is the use of plastic buttons on the coat. The man's version uses horn buttons and I would have expected the same quality standard on the woman's clothing. Buttons can be changed out, but I like when a manufacturer pays attention to details like that. Overall my girlfriend is very happy with the coat and I expect it o last for years. December 23, 2011
Love this coat!! After years of searching for the perfect camel hair coat, I decided to breakdown and go for one of the best. I am very happy with this purchase and love the tailored look. The fabric is wonderful and feels great. I honestly consider this to be a good investment in my wardrobe. I'm sure it will last me for many years. December 1, 2011

While both are made to the same high standards that you have come to expect from Brooks Brothers, there are some additional features that differ between our mainline Camel Hair Polo Coat and our outlet or "346" offering. What varies between the two are mostly technical details (such as the finish of the hardware as well as their origins) but most notably, the mainline item pictured above is made with Loro Piana fabric, woven in Italy, while the 346 iteration is not. Though it is still a higher quality than is seen in other outlet brands, it does not originate in Italy, or Loro Piana specifically. These minor differences help to keep the price point lower, but rest assured, the quality of craftsmanship is certainly in line with our mainline offerings.

I wear a size 2 in shirts and a size 4 in coats - but don't know if this coat is too roomy.

Our Camel Hair Polo Coat does run true-to-size, but taking into account that a coat such as this is designed to layer over bulkier clothing, it is roomier than our tailored shirts or dresses. We recommend selecting your exact size for the most proper fit. Of course, you may certainly exchange it if you find it is too large or small.
