Brooks Brothers knows cashmere !
I already own several BB cashmere sweaters, cashmere sports coats, a cashmere overcoat, and a cashmere scarf. This was my first BB cashmere hat purchase and I'm very pleased ! The Ivy hat fits perfectly, is very light, and is very warm. Finally, the look and feel of the hat is fantastic. This item is a must have for your winter wardrobe.

This cap is my new favorite for winter. It's warm, attractive, fits well and is sturdily made despite the soft material. I expect it to be a staple of my wardrobe for years.

A size 8 would be X-large or perhaps even 2X-large. BB cap sizes seem very consistent across seasons and materials, so I'd suggest trying them on in a store first. Once you have your size, you should be able to order more caps off the website with confidence.1 year, 4 months ago

Please help me decide. My current favorite hat is a Borsalino Fedora. It is a size 61 (USA 7 5/8). Though it does to sit on top of my head a bit loosely, it does fit me. If size 60 and size 61 are both considered XL, I am guessing size 60 might fit a bit snugger which would not be bad, because I think a strong wind would blow the hat off. The Fedora just grazed the top of my ears. I am seriously considering this Brooks Brothers Cashmere Ivy Cap and cannot decide between the 2 sizes that are available. Based on what I have said, what would you suggest?

Hello,It is a matter of preference. I think you answered your own question. A snug fit would prevent the wind from blowing the hat of your head. A looser fit would not give you the desired look or prevention of loss.
