Rated 5 out of 5 by rcook great for the casual office.
I'm a dentist, so I need a pair of somewhat casual yet snappy pair of pants. I'm up, down, and walking around all day in full display, but don't want to overdue it with a pair of dress slacks. I never professionally clean them, usually have them in the dryer for the first 25 mins, then get them out and air dry them. They always look good. They hold up really well but for the bottom of the cuff in the back, it always gives out at around 6 months. So I get 5 sets of these every six months, and donate the old ones knowing someone is getting a great pair of pants after they hem them up an inch.
I would really try the clark fit over the hudson as I've owned both. I find the hudson too roomy coupled with the strangeness of the tapered leg. It just looks strange. Try the clark first, then if you are too big, get the hudson, just my opinion and more importantly, my wife's...lol.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TD2timeMVP A solid chino for the office and out with friends
I have six pairs of Clarks from Brooks Brothers. They have lasted a really long time. My oldest pairs are almost five years old and I'm about to replace them. I wear them mostly to work, but also to functions outside of work. Whether it's meeting friends for dinner at night or to social events. They are solid pants all-around.
I'm short (5-7) and skinny, so the Clarks look good on me. Over the years, I've noticed the Clarks get a bit slimmer and a bit of a lower rise. Both good things! However, if you are short and skinny like me, I would go with the Milano cut first.
My only complaints with the Clarks are the bottom of the pants can ride up on top of your shoes, particularly above the heel, when you stand up from sitting or while walking. To remedy this, I had my latest pairs of Clarks tailored to a full break instead of medium break. This helps resolve the problem mostly, but it's annoying to have the extra fabric bundle up at your ankles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by dsflsu Great Looking, Terrible quality
The pants look great and fit well. However, the cuffs frayed and I even developed two holes - one on the back pocket and another directly above the pant cuff - after only 5 months of wear. (I read about this in other reviews, but wanted to assume they were wrong). I've had dockers outlast these pants, and these costs twice as much. As a result, I wouldn't recommend them to purchase nor will I be buying them again. Not worth the price, even on sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FourRings My favorites but could be better quality for price
I have worn various colors of these for several years. They are excellent for business casual everyday use. I have noticed a few pairs have frayed on the bottom after a year or less of use. Which is disappointing given the price. This should be improved. However, they look great and are easy to maintain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by tizzle good pants horrible sizing
I like these pants and prefer the shorter cut. I can see why people are complaining though and it is valid. If you like a shorter cut then they are good if not they are very bad.
BUT FIRST Brooks Brothers needs to STOP saying their pants are true to size. I wear a 34 usually in most pants and jeans, sometimes i squeeze into a 33. I had to squeeze in to a 35 and am not able to even get the 34 buttoned! They run at least one size small, possibly two. It is so annoying. And sometimes different colors will be tighter. I am never a 36 but i can in this pant...like i said i prefer this style but it is very different than the pants of the past and it is not for everyone

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rickey58 Replacing a pair I bought last year
The Clark Advantage Chinos looks good, are very comfortable, and are wrinkle resistant. I work in an office as a psychotherapist and am face to face with clients all day long. They are great for business casual. The only complaint is that they do tend to fray at the bottom of the leg after about a year of wearing about twice a week. But the pros outweigh the cons or I wouldn't be buying 2 new pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ferrari Need charcoal grey
The Clark is a great pant, however the dark grey looks more green to me than grey. I wish Brooks would offer more of a charcoal grey. Seems like that would be considered a basic color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by malonebash the advantage of advantage chinos
For many years I avoided wearing khaki's or chinos, reason 1 being they reminded me of my military days and secondly I remember walking past a bank on a saturday and there were hundreds of guys all dressed exactly alike in khaki's and polo shirts. the sight remains even today a journey into satorial hell. I visited BB last year and was persuaded to try a pair of the dark colored advantage chinos. They felt so good that I bought a few other pair in various colors and wore them with what ever I felt like., they feel so good that I am almost wearing them everyday. But i will never stand next to more than five other advantage wearers.
