Disappointingly cheaper than 346 line
I have some 346 line outlet shirts, and thought I was buying a slightly higher quality shirt from the retail store. Unfortunately not only did they get cheap and drop 2 cuff buttons (4 total) the material isn't a higher TC, and actually feels cheaper than the outlet line! Disappointed enough to return all but the one I (unfortunately) already washed.

More quality reductions
This shirt is oxford cloth not the cloth advertised. It fits but the shirt has been down sized literally since the shirt I bought last year. It fits smaller, a very tight fit. Also the middle button on the sleeves above the cuff has been eliminated. Just like the golden fleece shirts I bought earlier this year. The larges I bought this year are smaller than the mediums I bought last year. Brooks Brothers is cutting quality and fabric. The outlet stores no longer have exact sleeve length shirts... this is why I ordered it on line. I am really disappointed.

Bought 3 shirts, loved 2 hate one
I loved the other shirts I purtchased, however this one does not look like the image on the web. The shirt has an almost reflective appearance. I bought it for work and do not feel it is appropriate.

Almost the best!
I bought in the past similar shirt from Lands end cheaper but the same quality. I stop buying them because they made some changes, but now to my surprise, when I but Brooks Brothers, I find they have the same style. For example the two small split on the back is now a single one on the center, and the collar is far to high; so the collar fill uncomfortable. It should be a 1/4 of an inch less.
Still I will recommend this shirt. But wish they lower the collar..we are not Models!

I'm looking for the side just under my rib cage, or maybe even with my belly button. My grandfather used to have his monogramed on the very bottom, where it didn't show (mainly to keep his separate at the cleaners). that's not what i want.
Thank you.

When looking at the monogramming screen, please click on the STYLES link next to the "Choose a Monogram Style" box. Here you can see examples of monogram locations. The bottom side refers to a cuff location.2 years, 2 months ago

Varies from shirt to shirt, there is no basic weight difference between standard and luxury. It a matter of fabric selection. Some are heavier than others in both categories.2 years ago

Answer:
It's not so much the weight as the quality of the cloth itself. The "luxury" shirts are clearly made of a better quality cloth and manufacture than the "standard" BB shirt. The exception is the "classic cotton" supima oxford cloth shirts made in the US. The weight of this cloth is much heavier than the other broadcloths and the manufacturing quality is better as well.2 years, 3 months ago
