F A N T A S T I C I live in Toronto. Although the winters are not as cold as other places, we do have cold snaps. The B.B. Duffel Coat does the trick! It's warm, extremely comfortable and looks awesome. I don't know why I waited so long to buy one. I hope to have mine for many years. Although I'm happy spring is finally coming, I will look forward to next winter as long as I have my B.B. Duffel Coat. Thanks Brooks Brothers! March 9, 2013

Most Quality Warm jacket ever! I knew this was a nice coat from the moment i put it on. The weight reflects the quality, not too heavy and cumbersome, not too light and flimsy. Very well fitting and true to size, the jacket kept me warm with only a tshirt underneath in 8 degree mountain climate. Great jacket overall! Best coat i have ever had! January 12, 2012
Quality addition to the wardrobe I'm really happy with this 3/4 length winter peat coat. It's does a good job of keeping you warm and blocking out the wind on those cold mornings. The detail on the jacket is nice and so far the material and stitching has held up nice. I wasn't crazy about the hood or the buttons that hold it on. Enjoy, April 22, 2011

My Duffel is pure wool, not a blend. Mine also has a chest pocket inside on the left hand side. But I have seen models from other years that only have exterior pockets.

The Classic Duffel Coat I have is 100% well, with Bemberg lined sleeves (also 100%); the coat I have has 4 pockets total; two exterior and two interior.

The jacket is 100% wool. It is double-faced with a plaid pattern on the inside and an internal pocket.

We recommend the medium as you are most likely wear something bulky underneath the coat, i.e. sweater, sport coat.

No, its double faced wool. It is not lined, so it doesn't have fusing so it can get wet. But it is not storm system fabric and is not meant to get wet.. It will get the wet dog smell that wool gets if it gets wet.

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. A size 41R actually falls somewhere between a Medium and Large in Continental sizing. If you prefer a looser fit, and plan on wearing our Classic Duffel Coat over many layers, we would suggest purchasing a Large. If you prefer to have a slimmer fit, you might consider a Medium.
