Poor Material The design is really smart and the lining is good.However, I can hardly believe this thin fabric is from Loro Piana. The material is as thin as a summer shirt. Buttons are not fixed well, they swing and make noise whenever I move my arms.This size 4 (regular) blazer is too long and too big for me(5'7'',123lbs,34-27-35), though I ordered it according to the size chart. I had to return it, but still wanna try other navy blazer of BB. September 19, 2012

The lining is a navy color that closely matches the color of the jacket. The lining has a satiny sheen. According to the label, the lining is 100% Bemberg Cupro. Also, there is a small pocket on the inside of jacket on the left.

I'm 5'7'', this size 4 blazer looks too long for me. So I guess it is designed for really tall women.

I would suggest a size 10. Their sizes tend to run a bit on the small side.

The blazer is a stand alone jacket that has the freedom to be paired with different colored bottoms. It is not normally worn with matching or the same color pants or trousers.

We would recommend khaki or charcoal grey colored pants with this blazer for a traditional and timeless combination.

may I know how the buttons are attached to the jacket? my arms are not long so I may need to amend the jackey from sleeves ends.

also so you think it suits people who is really petite?

I personally think that this blazer would look wonderful on any person, regardless of size. It's such a classic. I don't know much about sewing so I don't know how the buttons are attached, per se. However, another reviewer had her buttons moved when her sleeves were shortened, and it didn't seem to cause her any problems. I say, buy one! You won't regret it.

Hello,

We suggest that you purchase a “Petite Classic Single-Breasted Blazer” the sleeve length may be okay and not need any alterations. Petite styles are fit on a “Petite fit model” and are suitable for “petite size women.”

If you need the sleeves shortened, it is possible as we have changed the button holes on the sleeve vents to be easily removed for alterations.

We recommend choosing a size that is commensurate to the width of your shoulders and that will dictate the proper size, not the bust or waistline. From there, you may have it altered by your own tailor for the best fit.
