Five years on and still in perfect condition My wife bought this for me as a birthday gift. I did not know at the time of the qualities of cordovan leather but at this point I see very few signs of wear on this wallet. I use it as a primary wallet since cash is no longer as necessary and therefore it goes with me to work, in the woods and on the river. I cannot foresee when I will need to replace it and that alone justifies the cost. Buy with confidence. February 4, 2013
Card Case This entire line of Brooks Brothers leather goods is supurb. The cordovan card case is a handsome and truly belongs in every gentleman's jacket pocket. IT can store numerous business cards and, because it is a little larger than many cases on the market, you will find there's enough room for a driver's license and even credit card of two as well. It is a wonderful companion piece to the billfold and/or the long wallet...and should be resting on the top of every well dressed man's dresser at the end of every day. April 6, 2012

you can hold about 20 cards easily w/o stretching the opening when your removing a card. But appears you can train the leather by filling it w/ more to loosen it up, (sort of breaking it in) which is what I'm doing now and there's no real stretch, its just molding over the cards but the case is just more flexible now now that I've done that. So i would believe you can get to ~30, gently fill the case over time this way.

From my experience, top quality leather goods are made around the world. These wallets happen to be made in Japan...under the strict supervision of Brooks Brothers buyers. Far and away, these wallets are superior to most of the fragile leather goods I've ever seen come out of Italy. The leather dyes are more dominant. The finish is incredible. The workmanship (as noted in the stiching) is flawless. They are comparable to the fine leather goods coming out of England...nearly 75 years ago. Japan. I understand your reluctance. Nevertheless, Brooks Brothers has somewhere around 9 or 10 stores in the Orient...and the stuff they're turning out is really very very good.
