Luxurious Shell Cordovan Key Fob I am a nut when it comes to shell cordovan ("shell"), which in my mind is the best leather money can buy! I have several pairs of dress shoes made of shell and a nice wallet/money clip made of shell. I had been looking for some kind of key holder to protect the inside pockets of my dress trousers. I looked at Louis Vuitton and others but I wasn't interested in the name and average quality of the leather. Plus, I wanted something a little unique and created with shell. This item is a perfect fit. It holds my keys and my key fob with room for more. It is very well constructed and the patina (from putting it in and taking it out of my pocket) is really beautiful. I am very pleased with this purchase! January 14, 2012

Also, does the key ring zip inside the case, or is it mounted outside of the fob?

aprox. 4" length, by 1/2" width. no case, looks like a piece of ribbon over plastic with ring through it.

The key fob is 5" in length and 2.5" in height.
The key ring is on the outside of the case; however it can be tucked inside.

Several keys can be on it. Personaly, I would consider several ones i.e. keeping business separate from your personal items. Everything will fit, it just depends on how fast you want it to show wear/tear. It is not meant for many items.

The key fob should be able to hold all the mentioned items (depending on how large the remote device is). The key fob is 5 inches long.
