My new favorite trousers Most of the saxon wool items i have purchased have been farily heavy, and some with a flannel finish, which is great for cold weather, but not so great all year around NOt these trousers. They are a wonderful light weight, yet have a gorgous hand. Split back, well tailored and comfortable. These feel like year round trousers. A little expensive at full price, but if they work year round, they re worth it. January 21, 2012
Fine Wool Dress Slacks The Saxxon wool that these trousers are made of is soft, fine, and extremely comfortable. The trousers fit me perfectly, with a few alterations. (The tailor in my local BB store is outstanding.) While a bit pricey, you get everything you pay for. Excellent. October 24, 2011
Very comfortable trousers I bought the charcoal color which looks very good, the color is not too light or too dark, just right. The Saxxon merino wool is really comfortable, silky smooth and very nice on the skin. It is not hot in the summer heat, not cold in a cool day. It is a good all season trousers. July 7, 2011

The Fitzgerald trousers are only slightly trimmer than the Madison fit trousers. I would suggest you get your usual size. I wear the same size in both the Fitzgerald and Madison.
