I usually wear Brooks' dress shirts 15/34 and sweater S or M, (my height 5'10) ,
I'd like to know how much different the size is between 38r and 38s ?
and which size is better for me?

Hello sir, thank you for your question. Based on your height of 5'10", we recommend you select a regular length for our Double-Breasted Plaid Topcoat. A short length is for gentlemen who are below 5'8" (or so) and the sleeve length and inseam of the garment are a bit shorter to compensate.
