I can see that other two Edward Green models are made on last 888 but these suede shoes seem to be either on last 202 or 82. I cannot tell from the pictures. Also waht color is this? I know it says brown but Edward Green has different shade of brown suede such as coffee suede, mink suede, mocha suede?

Answer:
I am pretty sure it is on 82 last. It would be helpful to know if BB is listing a UK or US sizing. Also, would like to know if the shoes come with shoe trees.

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. "Bals" is short for Balmorals, essentially an oxford shoe, taking its name from Queen Elizabeth II castle in Scotland. Essentially, it is a close-laced shoe reserved for more dressed-up occasions. Edward Green has a legacy of crafting shoes for English society and members of the royal family; as such we have retained the monicker "Bals".

Kind regards,
