Sharp tie, but unfortunate width
I just ordered two of these ties in the light blue /navy and yellow / navy colors. The colors were spot on and very sharp in person. However, I immediately noticed that the ties were exceptionally wider than my other ties from Brooks Brothers. I compared them to an XL tie I bought just 5 months ago and they were easily bigger. I decided to measure and they turned out to be a little more than 3 3/4" wide, noticeably more so than the standard 3 1/4" (which is also the width advertised on this product page as of 5/13/13).
I brought them to my local store and the sales associate explained that sometimes they change width's seasonally just to mix things up, and that if I tried to exchange through the website I'd most likely get the same exact ties back again. I ended up exchanging them at the store for the same exact colors (and desired, standard width), but in the standard length, unfortunately. My only advice would be to be careful when ordering if you don't like your ties on the wider side.

Need more of these
Thank you Brooks Bros for the extra long tie.
Nice to be able to have both ends of the tie meeting for a change! Good quality and will be buying more soon.

A Year In Year Out Classic
The BB#3 Repp Tie is my personal favorite from the classic stripe collection. I suggest an extra long tie for those over six feet tall especially when tying a full windsor knot.
