Rated 5 out of 5 by My wedding dinner jacket Wore this for my wedding last October in the Colombian city of Cartagena. The look and feel of this jacket was perfect. The BBros in Bal Harbor Lengthened the sleeves and tightened up the back. I wore a complete BBros kit including black pants, silk socks, velvet slippers, white suspenders, black silk pocket square, silver knot studs and cufflinks, tux shirt with large spread collar, self tie bow tie, and black cummerbund. Looked and felt like a million $ April 5, 2011

Answer:
This is certainly a traditional white dinner jacket. It has a knotched lapel, while some men may see the shawl collar and lapel version as a more traditional model. It's your choice.

Answer:
Traditionally, Shawl and Peaked Lapels are the 'correct' styles for a formal event, but in this day and age, Notched Lapels are so commonly seen, it has become acceptable too.

Having said that, I believe the difference of the two jackets are their fit and how they look. The Fitzgerald Dinner Jacket has the Fitzgerald Fit which is distinguished by narrow lapels and higher armholes. The White Dinner Jacket has a Shawl Lapel, instead of Notched.
