Rated 5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by beautiful coat the coat fits perfectly. it's quite warm and substantial, but drapes beautifully. I've gotten many compliments. However i must gripe about the buttons, which were not fastened to well. just a couple of loops of thread. On the first day i wore it, two buttons fell off, and i lost one of them (good thing there's a spare). the next time i wore it, another button fell. what the heck??!! when i got home i reinforced EVERY button on the coat (8 on the front, two on the shoulders two in the back and two for the flap to keep the coat flapping when its windy i suppose). Didn't the tailor think about these heavy metal buttons when he/she was putting them on? i Have to say that outside the quality of the coat, i guess i'm griping about the actual job of fastening the buttons to the coat, which is questionable. i know, i probably should have gone into a BB store and had it done, but i guess i'm impatient. great coat nonetheless. Rated 5 out of 5 by I had been eying this coat for while and finally ordered it this winter. It is a really gorgeous coat. Here are a list of my pros/cons Pros - beautiful coat, feels good and fits very well, for the most part(see below) - you get find a LOT of comments/questions about how nice it is/where can I get one... - I typically dont worry about quality when I buy something from brooks brothers, it is made well cons - it is really too expensive. . - it has a very athletic cut - that could be a pro or con; but if you have a couple of pounds to lose you can forget about weating it without alterations. Rated 5 out of 5 by Very luxurious English Greatcoat I ordered this coat on the internet during the Boxing Day sale. I even managed to get the size of coat changed on the order. This coat is very expensive. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone other than a person who enjoys fine luxury clothing. Though this coat is quite practical and warm, one can easily find practical coats for a lot less. The buttons are rich looking and the coat has a great sheen. A suit of the same size as the coat fits very well below it. January 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very luxurious coat, but truly an officer's coat! This coat is amazingly good looking and luxurious. The silhouette is very nice and this coat truly stands apart from any other overcoat there is on the market. It is very well made with great attention to the slightest detail. I have to say that the fabric, the first time i felt it, was truly astonishing: it is thick yet amazingly soft and drapes the body beautifully. The coat has shoulder straps, they do not appear clearly in the pictures, and overall the coat has a very distinctivly military look. Just make sure not to wear a fur chapka with it unless you want to make an impersonation of Sean connery in "the hunt for red october"! January 14, 2014
