Good polos worth the money
With the excellent cotton BB uses for these polos and the wonderful colors, no wardrobe is complete without them. They wear well, fit pretty well, and look dressy but feel casual.
My only issue is that they seem to fit a little snug around my biceps (not because I'm muscular, by far). It could just be me though.
I look forward to buying my next 3 to add to my wardrobe. GREAT way to look classy without having to really dress up.

Must have!!!
One of the only two brands of polo shirts I buy. Brooks Brother makes an excellent polo.
Excellent quality and appearance. The fit could be more slim. Usually warm wash to slightly shrink for better fit. Only cold wash and air dry.

good quality standard polo
good quality, lasts a long time, only negative is they run a little big, but is a great product better than many other polos from other companies

A true classic
These shirts are a timeless stable to any gentleman's wardrobe. They are comfortable and classic and can be worn to a wide variety of events ranging from a backyard bbq, casual Friday at the office, Saturday at the game, or just lounging around the house. The cut is great and the material is super high quality. I can not understand why anyone would buy any other brand. These are the best looking, fitting, highest quality, and priced more reasonably than the majority of brand name polos.

Golden Fleece polos retain their vibrant color and their shape thru repeatedly washes. The shirts do not become a sausage nor do they hike up shrunken above your waistline.1 year, 9 months ago

Answer:
I have found the garment dyed polos to be cut more trim than the Performance Polos, a plus for a young buyer looking for a contemporary look. The garment dyed process tends to fade with washing and produce variations in color, another contemporary style cue. More traditional taste my choose the "classic" (roomy) fit and colorfast dye of the original Golden Fleece.1 year, 10 months ago

After going through a first and second standard wash and dry the fabric has gotten stiffer/rougher and is holding wrinkles more. It is not to a large degree, but I much preferred the condition of the fabric before laundering for the first time. Would something like fabric softener return the polo to its original condition?

Answer:
I would advise you against using fabric softener. While it will make your fabrics softer- it will also cause them to fade dramatically over time, and weaken the fiber, resulting in a shapeless form. If you would like your polos softer, do not put them in the dryer- instead hang them on a clothes line- or out to dry on a flat surface in your residence. But never, ever use fabric softener for clothing, on bedding- yes, clothing- NO!11 months ago

Answer:
I have not experienced your problem with the "1818 Golden Fleece Performance Polo" shirts. Regular machine washing and drying (with a fabric softener sheet in the dryer) have kept the soft, wrinkle-free appearance for several seasons. The same may not be true for the garment-dyed polo or for the factory store "346" polo.1 year, 3 months ago
