Hello, thank you for your inquiry into our Golden Fleece Shield Slim Tie. Each season, Brooks Brothers likes to include the Golden Fleece logo on a number of our ties, and this season we decided to combine it with the shield and crossbones for a bit of a youthful look. There is no archival significance but we feel it lends a whimsical feel to an otherwise proper, business appearance.
