Rated 5 out of 5 by great overcoat vicuna color is a deep camel. looks great, exudes class front pockets are not functional fyi but there is a larger inside pocket on the left side full length, definitely for more formal/work occasions. not really something you would want to wear out casually the cashmere is great quality runs a bit big - i'm a 44L in fitzgerald suits, and the 42L overcoat fits me well with a suit on underneath November 10, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Purchase Superb quality, craftsmanship, and appearance. The fit is slightly tighter through the chest and shoulders than the camel hair overcoat in the same size. Consequently, I exchanged the initial Westbury overcoat (42L) that I received for the next larger size (44L), which now fits perfectly. March 3, 2010

for overcoats, the S/R/L/XL denotes sleeve length. they all have the same overall length in the back

so if you're a L in a suit and get the sleeves shortened, R will be closer. If you're an S in a suit and get sleeves lengthened, R will be closer, etc

A great starting point is your suit size. If you wear a long suit one should consider the long sized outerwear.

quality of the cashmere. i have the westbury but not the other one. can say the westbury is really nice. difference might be negligible

I don't know if this is the only difference, but the main difference is in their cut/styles. This is a Westbury overcoat. The other one has Raglan sleeves (think Baseball tees).

Both are 100% Loro Piana cashmere, and Golden Fleece.

At the knee, or slightly below. I happen to have a coat of similar length, and it ends mid-calf for me, so I'll be having it shortened by around 4-5inches.
