Rated 5 out of 5 by The Softest Seal I bought this for a great lady, basing my purchase on the reputation of Gund, as I've never actually held any of their stuffed animals before. It came mailed in a terrific Brooks Brothers box, which I accidentally scratched with a pocket knife as I opened the courier's box. That little scratch, happily, was the biggest flaw in the gift. The seal itself looked like a fluffy white torpedo wrapped up inside the box. I don't know how they managed to fit him in there. I took him out and showed him off before giving him away as a gift, and discovered that I couldn't fit him back in the box properly! But he is as cute as a kitten, and somehow even softer. I found myself unconsciously petting him, despite him having no animation. January 23, 2012
