Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 106 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pants This pair of pants is the best I've ever bought. I will buy more soon. They come out of the dryer looking pressed and are super comfortable. August 18, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Bottoms fray quickly I purchased two pairs of Hudson's and while I love the slacks, I agree with another poster here. The bottoms of the non cuffed slacks frayed within weeks!!!!! Need to fix this to maintain customer loyalty, and the ability to command the premium price. March 4, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hudson Khakis Great fit, look great even after several wears, great for travel, the pants fray at the hems very quickly. Not your typical BB quality. BB handles the replacement very well. Just frustrating to have to keep replacing and mailing back. Please fix the fraying.... March 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Wardrobe Cornerstone Great fabric and colors in a trouser that are very well cut for a comfortable fit. The fabric is very prone to heavy fraying at the bottoms long before the rest of the garment shows any wear. December 3, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointing quality While these pants look and feel great I'm very disappointed in the quality. I bought several pair of these a couple months ago and the cuffs are showing a tremendous amount of wear. The lower edge is beginning to fray after just 8 weeks of weekly wear. I expect more out of pants in this price range. This is the first article from Brooks Brothers that I've been less than happy with and I hope it's the last. May 31, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great khakis for everyday wear The Hudson non-iron khakis are an easy choice for everyday casual wear. The fit is great for those with an athletic build. My only complaint is premature fraying along wear edges but overall a great looking pant. November 19, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautful Pants I ordered three pair. I'm a big guy and have been hard to fit since I was a kid. It's a rare event when I find something off-the-rack that works. But let me tell you, these pants totally work! I picked my size, hit the button to buy and held my breath. When they arrived I tried them on and they fit perfectly. Soft, durable, flattering and exceptionally comfortable pants. Love 'em! May 9, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Worn edges and bad fading. The Hudson's are fantastic out of the box but have a wear life of roughly 50 washings. The cuffs fray and the colors fade. Possibly, this has something to do with the wrinkle free process as I have found the fraying issue on BB shirts as well, however the shirts tend to last twice as long. Aside from the short life of this product, these are fantastic pants. March 16, 2010

Answer:
I'm not sure the pant is treated but I have had 15 or 20 pairs of these over the past 5 years or so and no problems with keeping them clean when compared to other pants such as the Country Club khakis.

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Of our five fits, Milano is the trimmest and has a plain front. The Thompson is next, with a straight fit and a pleated front. The Clark has a straight fit and plain front, and the Elliot is the most relaxed fit to have a pleated front. Lastly, the most generous fit for our plain-front chinos is the Hudson.

In addition, our newest trim fit is the Red Fleece Slim Chinos (item MR00185). It has our lowest rise, a trim cut and is our most contemporary offering.

We do hope this information is helpful.

I am one of several customers who loves these pants with one exception--the bottom cuffs of them fray very quickly--they start to "thread and shred" after only a few weeks of wearing. Much faster than other khaki pants I own from other manufacturers. Several customers have noted this. Is there any plan to improve this quality defect? everything else about these pants is wonderful! Thank you..PS I have posted this question before and did not receive a reply as far as I know.

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry into the Hudson Advantage Chinos. Indeed we are very sorry to hear that you've experienced some fraying issues at the cuffs. Please note that we take our quality control quite seriously here and we will monitor this situation and share our findings with our team of merchants and buyers for consideration of future collections. (We have to imagine this issue has arisen before since cotton tends to fray easily in areas of high friction, such as the cuffs.)

We are very grateful for your continued patronage and look forward to speaking with you soon.

Kind regards,
Brooks Brothers

I'd take them to a Brooks Brothers store and ask the tailor there. Most stores have tailors and they'll give you great advice.

Answer:
The desired size of cuff would determine the amount of fabric needed. For instance, a "traditional" cuff is usually around 4cm (or 1.5 inches). In that case, you would need AT LEAST two inches added on to the length. I have heard some tailors recommend more than that. Also, keep in mind that these pants are "non-iron," and for that reason, can cause the cuffs to resist staying flat.

Brooks' chinos are the best I've ever worn in every way, except for the side pockets, which consistently have worn through and developed holes far sooner than others'.

Not so far as I know. The pockets do wear out, and i am not abusive of them. Also, the hems fray much too quickly. Is it just me, or do I remember chinos from years ago that never frayed?

Answer:
I haven't noticed the pockets being a problem immediately. In the past 5 years I've only experienced 1 pair of Hudson Chinos that wore a hole in the pocket, and it took 2 years before that occurred. Maybe you received a bad pair or something you carry helped create the hole.

I bought some Clark Plain-Front Vintage Chinos two years ago and they were a great fit, very comfortable for the Fall and Winter season in the North East. Are these a lighter fabric or heavier fabric and are they as soft?
