Rated 5 out of 5 by Work like a horse, fit like a champ I bought three pairs of these pants for my son as part of his work uniform. They have taken a beating, and have come through the wash looking great. The fabric still has a clean, crisp appearance after many launderings. If you take them out of the dryer while still warm, you can even get away with not ironing. The fit and tailoring are great. It has been a few years, but I am back to buy more! You won't be disappointed in these pants - - great quality and versatility. They look great with a polo as well as a button-down and blazer. June 14, 2012

Light weight chino trousers are climate and season specific. The chinos is part of our spring and summer collection. Regular chino trousers are a core item that can be worn throughout the year.

The trousers are not transparent, even if coin pocket is visible.

Hello sir, thank you for your inquiry. The Hudson is actually our fullest plain-front fit, with more room in the seat than our Clark fit. Alternatively, our largest pleated trousers are the Elliot fit.

I may be laundering these pants all wrong, but both the lightweight and traditional weight versions have an awful tendency to fray at the edges after only a few, let's say a dozen, launderings. If it matters, I generally wear the hudson cut. Is there a way to keep this from happening?
