I wanted to buy these boots for a very long time due to it's unique color & design. However, I was in a complete shock when I received it.
"To my eyes", the color on the website is egg-plant or darker, greyish cordovan in a matt finish. However, the color looks quite ordinary, dark chocolate brown in-person. Also, the greyish-greenish leather at the ankle is actually British green. Though, I'm not an expert in identifying a quality leather, I feel it's quite thin than you can see in the picture. The shoe string is also short. The kilt slides out 1-2 cms. father down in front.
I'm not sure why these boots are being sold at such a premium.
