A good looking shoe, but couple things to be aware of:
1) Shoe is initially comfortable, but since it is a boat shoe, don't expect to go for a 5 mile walk in these...best left for casual strolls at the mall or outdoors
2) Since these are usually worn sockless, your feet will get sweaty; the blue dye on the inside of the shoe also start to rub off on my feet, turning it a bit blue
3) The bottom of the shoe is white, so it will get dirty relatively easily
4) Def. snug, but since worn sockless I would get a half size smaller than what you normally wear

I bought these shoes for my 24 year old son. He has always worn "Sperries" since he was a child, but I thought these shoes looked a bit more sophisticated and sturdy. Indeed they are! A young gentleman who is extremely fussy has worn them everyday since they arrived. Success!

I purchased this boat shoe last May. After almost a year of heavy use, these shoes still look the way they did when they came out of the box!

Rated 5 out of 5 by tizzle great boat shoe but heres the deal on fit
If you wear with no socks then get a whole size smaller than what you get in sneakers
i wear a 10 sneakers, 9.5 shoe and this in a 9.....for the most part anyway...but fit snug and took a week to break in then felt softer and fit right
classy looking boat shoe since most have a white bottom

I get a lot of complements with these shoes. You can never go wrong with dark blue shoes. these look great and can wear them with any kind of casual outfit. Only downside is that they are pretty stiff at first so needs to be broken in. Otherwise, awesome pair of shoes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rolly Colored boat shoes are a great wardrobe concept!
II've always owned the traditional dark brown boat shoe. I recently purchased a blue pair and couldn't be happier, as the colored versions can help make a true fashion statement! They look great with bright colored pants.

Wore it at my 50-th reunion at Dartmouth. Fit right in.
I like the look, the feel, the comfort.

I'm very fond of these shoes, and they were a very worthwhile purchase.
My comparison shoes would be Sperrys, Timberlands and Rockports. These feel like a much more quality build than the Sperrys and more comfortable than the Timberlands. I would rate these the same as the Rockports as far as comfort goes, but without the heavy padding that the Rockports have (why would you want slow drying padding inside of a boat shoe).
The leather on these is very attractive and has much more depth than the corrected grain of the other brands. My only complaint on appearance is the padded look of the collar, but it is very comfortable, and I can definitely live with it.
