Very poor design As other reviewers have noted, the stitches in the center of the belt wear out quickly, making it unusable. Very disappointed in the quality of this item and VERY surprised Brooks Brothers is still selling it. I expect better quality from BB. May 14, 2013
Great looking belt, but there's a big problem..... This belt looks and fits great, HOWEVER the prong on the buckle wore through the center of the strap where the braids meet, rendering the belt unusable. This happened after only a few months of occasional use. This was very disappointing. June 30, 2012
Nice looking, but junk After only months, the belt prong tore its way though about two inches of the braiding, making the belt unwearable. Similar belts costing one-third the price have fared better than this. April 24, 2012

Answer: 
My cordovan one has a polished silver buckle and my brown has an unpolished brass buckle. I bought them at different times, so I'm not sure if each year they make changes to the buckle or whether they always put silver with cordovan and brass with brown.

I'd like to know the size exactry. Is the size you mantion for my waist or the belt itself? My waist is about 32 or 33 inches. Which size do you recommend?

We recommend going up two sizes when purchasing a belt. So, your waist measures a 32, and then size 34 is the appropriate size.
