Rated 3 out of 5 by Loyal BB customer disappointed by quality I have this belt in all 3 colors available. I love the higher end look and they seem to fit well. However, I've noticed Brooks Brothers seems to be making some blunders both with the quality of this item as well as the quality and fit on other items they sell. On the saddle tan colored belt (the one I wear most frequently) I noticed that after a year of once-twice/week usage that the hole where I'd buckle the belt started unraveling. I tried trimming the threading or whatever was coming undone hoping it wouldn't be noticeable, but it just kept getting worse. I chalked this up to normal wear, but after reading other reviews have had the same issue, I'm hesitant to spend another $150 on a replacement belt that will only last another year. I am disappointed BB would tout this product as hand made in Italy and charge a premium for something that doesn't withstand very normal use. August 2, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Great looking belt, but there's a big problem..... This belt looks and fits great, HOWEVER the prong on the buckle wore through the center of the strap where the braids meet, rendering the belt unusable. This happened after only a few months of occasional use. This was very disappointing. June 30, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not even close The Burgundy or AKA cordovan, is not even close. It is a light browm and looks nothing like the picture. Not happy at all. June 13, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent quality I have used this as my casual belt for 10 years, and it has only now worn out (the threads between the two halves of the belt have eventually worn through). The key change to the current item is from a silver buckle to the "gold tone," which doesn't have the same solid appearance. I may buy the new item and try to replace the buckle. Would be better if the BB buyer would do it! May 16, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by the color's wrong The belt is nowhere near the brown shown on the web site. It's more an orange/tan color. February 23, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by BELT INTERIOR BREAKS DOWN I LOVE THE OVERALL QUALITY OF THE LEATHER AND METALS USED IN THE BELT. WHERE THEY FALL SHORT IS IN THE WORKMANSHIP. IT IS ALREADY STARTING TO BREAKDOWN INSIDE AFTER ONLY A DOZEN WEARINGS. February 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Buy Finally a belt not made in china! This belt is made in Italy and is of very fine quality. Well constructed and sturdy, supple but not overy so and able to take some abuse. I have always kept my belts for at least 10 years before buying new ones but I believe this one will out perform the previous ones I purchased from you. January 22, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 Great belt. Go Great quality belt. Looks like it'll last longer than other braided belts I've had. It's pricey for what it is though. Also, the colors are confusing- the burgundy color is a nice dark brown, not sure why they don't just call it dark brown. May 25, 2011

Answer:
My cordovan one has a polished silver buckle and my brown has an unpolished brass buckle. I bought them at different times, so I'm not sure if each year they make changes to the buckle or whether they always put silver with cordovan and brass with brown.

Answer:
Get the size 34 belt. 36 would be too big if your waist is really 32/32.

Answer:
Hello,

We recommend going up two sizes when purchasing a belt. So, your waist measures a 32, and then size 34 is the appropriate size.

Thank you for contacting us.

Have a great day.
