Great Belt - Great Purchase ! Very pleased with this dress belt. Looks good with both business suits and business casual. Additionally, very happy to find the burgundy/cordovan color, as most retailers have dropped it from their line. February 15, 2012
The Only Game in Town My husband announced before Christmas that both his cordovan-colored and brown belts needed to be replaced. I began a search of the stores near my home and eventually ended up searching online as well because he prefers a brass buckle, regardless of the current trend for siver color. Trust me. Brooks Brothers is currently the ONLY game in town. The good news: the two belts in brown and burgundy are good quality, 1.25 inches wide, and the buckle is an acceptable size and shape. The bad news: the belts might as well be the same color. There is not enough distinction between the brown and burgundy. January 13, 2012
A bit narrow Good belt, good quality, nice look, but not the 1 1/4 inches advertised. These run just over 1", whereas my other BB belts that are advertised as 1 1/4" are actually 1 3/8", which is a bit more to my liking. If you prefer narrow belts, these will definitely suit you ;-). You need to go up one size on belts. Generally, one wears an even number size pants. For a 34 inch waist, buy a size 36 belt.

It refers to the waist of the wearer. My 36 inch belt is actually 42 inches long, and 44 inches if you count the buckle.

It refers to the length of the belt. Typically, choose a belt one waist size up from your own. In this case, I would recommend you go with the 36" belt.

I have this belt. It seems to be calf and does not appear to be grain corrected. It is leather lined. (Not enough of an expert to say whether it's top or full grain, sorry)
