Rated 1 out of 5 by The heel broke off within ten minutes I was walking around my carpeted bedroom trying out my new shoes and, within fewer than ten minutes, the heel broke off. I only weigh 108 so it wasn't because the shoe was overloaded. Black Fleece items are supposed to be the cream of the Brooks Brothers crop, and they usually are .... but not this time. I see that I'm not the only customer who had this happen. May 19, 2012

As fate would have it, I ended up doing Bleacher Sets around the school staircases. These shoes took quite a licking their first day out. I'm glad I got the brown too because I really think I will wear both pairs to pieces. I purchased a half size larger than I ordinarily would for dress shoes. February 16, 2012

I think it runs small because the leather is really hard. You need a time to break in. Don't buy them if you are not use to high heels. You won't like them. But if you wear heels all the time, they are beautiful and look very expensive.
