Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Shirt Visited the Black Fleece store in SF (Fillmore Street) while walking the area. Looking at this shirt online does it no justice, as it is a beautifully crafted garment. On to the experience... The staff was extremely accommodating in every way. They aimed to please. Second, the layout was uncluttered but classy, a setup similar to a 1930's outfitter. What was even more impressive was that a card was sitting in my mailbox when I arrived him. It was sent from the manager thanking me for my visit to the store and the San Francisco area. I simply love the personal touches; it makes the whole experience worth while :) May 19, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Summer Shirt The Irish Linen fabric is substantial and the subtle argyle pattern is understated and elegant. The Black Fleece associates say it's white, olive and gray. To my eye, it's a light charcoal gray argyle pattern over white. Looks great with charcoal or medium gray trousers and outstanding with white linen trousers. As the previous reviewer wrote, it is a beautiful shirt and finely crafted. Highly recommended...only drawback is it's "Dry Clean Only," which is understandable but limits it's practicality somewhat. Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Nice Shirt... Saw this shirt in my local BB store, tried it on and decided to buy. Was concerned about the "dry clean only" label, but linen can be machine washed - gentle, cold water. I did wash it when I got home, hung it to dry and ironed. Looks great - as good as it did in the store. (It's possible that by washing it, it won't look as good for as long as if I'd dry-cleaned it, but i'll probably wear it no more than 5x a year, so I'll still get some good use out of it.) I wear a BB-5 size Black Fleece, although the arms are about an inch long on me. Maybe the BB-4 is intended for someone of my height (6ft 1in) but I'm a little too big in the chest and waist for the -4. All in all, a really nice shirt. August 15, 2011

Answer:
I just bought that shirt this past weekend. It looks almost charcoal gray on my monitor, but in real-life it's almost a camel. For comparison, BB has a camel-colored flannel sport shirt with dark elbow patches on clearance (look in the sale section of the website), the flannel shirt's body color is very close to the stripes you're asking about.

btw - the care label in the shirt you're asking about says "dry clean only", but i have machine-washed mine in cold water and it comes out just fine. (my dry cleaner is now up to almost $7 to dry-clean a shirt...)
