Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by The essential I have worn a Brooks Navy blazer since prep school at 13. If a man has nothing else, he should have a Navy Blazer in his closet. It can look casual or formal depending on the occasion. Brooks does it best. I started with the all wool flannel version, but thorugh the years, I have grown to like the ones with the streatch wool. Although this does not contain any lycra or whatever it is that they put in clothes nowasays, it is very comfortable. It might appear to be lightweight for winter use, although I find that it will be satisfactory and fits better under a top coat. I always travel with my navy balzer for two reasons: 1. I come from an era where people did not wear pajamas or like-wear on airplanes, boats or whatever. I feel that you get treated specially, if you are dressed properly. (Can you reallly expect to be taken seriously in a track suit?) 2. I like to have something to wear to dinner (Yes, I still get dressed for that too.) and I don't have to worry about it getting wrinkled and it will not show food stains. As an aside, I note that I sometimes use it as a pillow or blanket when I want to take a nap on a train or someplace where I cannot get a pillow &/or a blanket. I have not had this version before, but I expect to get as much wear from it as I did with the old one (approximately 15 years). March 9, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Customer Service Excellence The associate had taken down one of the numbers on the credit card wrong. I was traveling all week so could not be reached. He took the initiative to use his own card to make the purchase and correct it later. Excellent customer service and clothing. October 7, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Blazer I've owned one in navy blue for two years and it has proven a faithful companion, light to carry and great when air conditioning fans are in charge. Despite quite heavy use, it still looks brand new. February 24, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional Blazer Should a blazer be darted or not? The answer is - it depends. For the purist, sack is classic but if you're a slimmer guy you will be more than satisfied with this purchase. The LP fabric is excellent though its not exceptionally fine. Pairs well with gabs or flannel (gray of course). The top button of my blazer did get loose quickly but I do tend to wear it buttoned up a lot when upright. December 15, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by An American Classic I have been searching for some time for a traditional navy blazer that looks and fits great. This fits the bill, and will be in my wardrobe for many years. The wool is soft, and the drape is excellent. Couldn't be happier. December 30, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Blazer! The hand of this fabric is absolutely exquisite. Brooks Brothers quality can't be compared. December 29, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Gift I purchased this blazer as a gift for my husband. The fit is true to size, the fabric is nice to the touch, has a classic style and versatile as it even works well with jeans. We received the jacket in excellent condition and a few days within our order. Overall, a great and easy purchasing experience. July 2, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not the best I ordered this blazer online last week and had pretty high expectations. I got it today and tried it on and was very disappointed. The first thing I noticed was that the sleeves were at least 3 inches too short (conservatively) and this was a L. Then I noticed how oddly cut the arms were at the top - almost like they were very high in the jacket making it very uncomfortable. I have many other 46L's in other brands that fit great. This cut was supposed to be sort of an average and not slim, but that wasn't what I found. Overall it looked OK, but not the best quality for the price - so it's going back..... May 30, 2012

Regular length is for sure, but your outer diameter in inches would suggest the number before the R.

To provide the best recommendation we need more information. Height alone is not a good indicator of what size one should select.

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we cannot switch the buttons in our distribution center, typically this is done at your local Brooks Brothers store by one of our professional tailors. Being that you are contacting us from Australia, where we do not currently have a location, you would do well to purchase buttons separately and bring them to your local tailor.

We do hope this information is helpful.
