Gorgeous fit and appearance
I am living in the Republic of Korea and there are several branch stores in Korea. This is my first on-line purchase experience. I am 5.94 feet tall and I weigh 213 pounds. My abdomen is not protruded but frankly speaking I am not so athletic. I tried 44R Madison fit navy color in the BB flagship store in Korea and it suited me well. I ordered this suit via internet and the packaging was also very impressive. It came across the Pacific Ocean but I didn't have to iron it. I think that the fits of my previous suits from other manufacturers are incorrect. This suit make me look slimmer but I feel comfortable. I am considering to buy another one with grey color. Some people wrote that BB seemed to have changed the fit but this suit fits me very well.
I strongly recommend you to choose this if you are searching for a basic and classic suit.

Great value, but why change the fit?
This used to be a great suit. All of the suits in my closet are BB Madison Fit, but now the same suits in the store fit completely differently. The rise on the pants has been shortened, which changes the fit and feel of the pants completely. The jackets have also been changed most noticeably with higher armholes.
BB, if you want to change something about your suits, add some new patterns, styles or details, but please stop changing the fit of suits, pants and jackets, that your customers have been buying for years and have come to rely upon.

Excellent appearance and quality. The only negative was that I purchased 2 suits, 1 grey and 1 navy. I didn't look until after I got home from receiving the finished suits. The grey is a 41R and the navy is 40R. The fit is fantastic in both, but luckily I bought them in store, so they both fit.

Change of Fit
Extremely disappointed for the first time with BB. I purchased a 42s Madison Fit Grey Pinstripe suit and the suit will not fit me, even though I wear a 42s BB Madison Fit suit every day to the office. BB has obviously changed the fit of these suits. The consistency of the cut and fit of BB suits is what kept me a loyal customer for years. I'm afraid I will now have to look elsewhere.

Would you start with a solid grey suit, then navy and then pin stripes in building a wardrobe?

Answer:
Yes, I would begin with either solid grey or navy, and then add the same colors in the classic pin stripes next. You cannot go wrong with these as the foundation for a suit wardrobe that will treat you well in court, meetings with clients, dinners, etc. for years to come.1 year, 2 months ago

Dear Young Attorney,I am a successful business person and attorney and have lived in NYC and frequent the city. Clearly the navy blue suit, a golden fleece, is a very wise choice. I would bet that Warren Buffet has one in his wardrobe!

Answer:
I recommend sticking with "the uniform" when getting started. Start with solid blue and blue pinstripe suits, then add charcoal and charcoal pinstripe. Always have a blue blazer for "business casual" affairs. Mulloy's book Dress For Success may be a bit dated, but still speaks to valid business dress attire. Go for colorful, attractive ties; beware the "power tie" game, especially as a young man.2 years, 3 months ago

Answer:
In my opinion, dark blue siuts, white shirt, spread collar(no button down!) with a red or light blue tie is timeless.I also like the darker gray pinstripes(as long as the stripes aren't gaudy), classic, classy, and timeless.
I find solid gray to be boring..
Hope this helps.

Answer:
Yes, you're definitely on track with that. When you get to the pinstripes go Navy then Grey. A solid black suit is nice too.2 years, 3 months ago

Doing the simple "pinch" test with my jacket, I'm 100% sure it isn't fully canvassed. I doubt BB makes any fused, therefore I conclude it must be half-canvassed.1 year, 3 months ago

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not offer, for sale, just the trousers of our Madison Two-Button 1818 Suit. Our suits are sold entirely together. This is done to protect the integrity of the jacket, since different batches of the fabric may vary a bit (in terms of color and pattern, etc).We do hope this information is helpful.

What is the drop (for the pants)? Also, if my over-arm measurement is 51", would you recommend a size 43 or 44 chest jacket?
