Answer:
This is definitely a wool suit, and it is VERY thin. Think 8 to 9oz at most. I will wear mine only in the late spring, summer, and early fall. The jacket could be worn by itself spring/summer/fall as it is fully lined.

Answer:
Hello Donh,

Poplin suits are specifically for your spring and summer wardrobe. The suits are constructed to keep you cool during the hot summer months. Poplin suits are made from breathable cotton and there is no lining. The suit is perfect for summer weddings, cocktail parties, and your boss barbeque.

Have a great day!

The suit is listed as brown but the picture shows more of a charcoal colour.

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry into our Milano Double-Breasted 1818 Suit. Though our system has classified this fabric as being "brown", there are certainly shades of charcoal and grey that come through more. It is pictured realistically in this particular shot.

We do hope this is helpful in your selection.
Kind regards,

Suits that are worn in the Northeastern US are just too hot down here, summer or winter, inside or outside.

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. We certainly understand your difficulty in finding a suit that is appropriate for a Southern Texas climate. However, the Milano Double-Breasted 1818 Suit is fairly lightweight as other reviewers have noted. It is not lined and is made of a thinner wool than perhaps you may see with our other offerings. It is worth trying, as comfort is often quite subjective.

Please note, the suit is made of wool, not cotton as noted in other reviews.

Kind regards,
