Only Wish It Came In Oxblood Not sure what other purchasers are referring to as to size. I anticipated a "boot" fit and was not surprised. I found my pair to be just noticeably more narrow than my customary D width. Beautiful shoes. Wish I could purchase them in an oxblood. July 13, 2010
Yes, it has a leather sole. It is identical to the Plain Toe Blucher except in boot form. Mine are also a little on the slim side (I would say 3/4 of the way between a C and a D) February 12, 2010
Don't waste your money on these boots While attractive looking on the website and in person, the shoe is cut very narrow - could not get my normal D width foot in the toe box - and the sole is so narrow as to give me a wobbly feeling when walking in them. While definitely a quality constructed boot, the website says it has a rubber sole, however, don't be fooled - only the rear of the dovetailed sole is rubber, while the rest is leather.
