Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Business Shoe BB introduced me to these shoes 9 years ago when my luggage didn't arrive from Melbourne and I had my first meeeting in Boston at 9.00am. They opened early and fitted me out (even ironed my shirt). They recommended these Peal & Co shoes and I have been wearing them ever since. I now buy them on-line from Melbourne. They fit like a glove and no blisters or wear in period. Just a great business shoe April 21, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Made on a more elegant last than their cordovan counterparts. A fantastic shoe for business wear. December 25, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent dress shoe This shoe fits true to size and is a great color or brown. The quality of the shoe is excellent and very comfortable with little break in time needed. The shoes hold a nice shine and the BB dark brown polish matches the color of the shoe. February 20, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Peal & Co. shoes are a staple in my closet. Great classic styling, comfortable, durable. I have had custom shoes from E.Vogel but Peals last longer and much better value. Can't go wrong with any of the Peal & Co styles. December 15, 2012

For Peal shoes, due to issues with customs/duty and expensive freight, we repair locally. Please check with your closest Brooks Brothers store for a local cobbler that resoles and reheels for customers.

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry into the Peal and Co. Perforate Captoes. The last used to craft these shoes is the 240, which is used on classic Peal lace-up styles. It was originally developed to American fitting specifications, and is suitable for narrow widths, i.e. ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, because it has a relatively shallow instep.

We do hope this is helpful.
Kind regards,

I have other Crockett & Jones shoes, in size UK 10.5 F width. My understanding is that all BB Peal & Co. shoes made by C&J come in US sizes. In that case, i require some help confirming my size.

I would guess that a Peal & Co. Perforated Captoe in 11.5 E width would be the equivalent of my UK 10.5 F width C&Js? Thank you for the help.

Answer:
Indeed you are correct, an American size 11.5 would be equivalent to a 10.5 in the UK. In addition, a standard width is denoted by a "D" next to the size whereas an "E" is used to express extra width.

For your convenience, we've attached a screenshot of our shoe size conversion chart.

We do hope this is helpful.
Kind regards,
