Rated 4 out of 5 by BostonTrad Greay shoes, little tight
Great shoes, but a word of warning for those purchasing online... I would consider sizing up a 1/2 size for toe room. Can't say I have any problem with the heel width like the other poster, and I have narrow heels.

Great craftsmanship on these. Suede is beautiful and looks great with gray trousers. I normally wear a 12D and these fit on the mark.

Rated 3 out of 5 by jhcam8 Beautiful - large heel
I loved the look of these and they are very comfortable. The only snag is that the heel is too loose all around - it's not made with the typical D/B (width/heel) and I reluctantly returned them.

Who is the maker of this shoe? Is it Crocket and Jones? Do the sizes run true or large? Crocket and Jones shoes usually run large and I'm wondering if I should order a hald size down.

Answer:
The maker is almost certainly Alfred Sargent, judging from the nail pattern on the heel.1 year, 10 months ago

Answer:
These don't appear to be C&J - maybe Alfred Sargent or even Loake. I returned a pair because the whole heel area bowed out and was loose on me. The length was fine. It's a nice looking shoe.2 years, 4 months ago

It is not Crockett & Jones. The maker is proprietary information. It runs true to size.2 years, 5 months ago
