Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Shoe Great craftsmanship on these. Suede is beautiful and looks great with gray trousers. I normally wear a 12D and these fit on the mark. March 11, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful - large heel I loved the look of these and they are very comfortable. The only snag is that the heel is too loose all around - it's not made with the typical D/B (width/heel) and I reluctantly returned them. November 11, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Greay shoes, little tight Great shoes, but a word of warning for those purchasing online... I would consider sizing up a 1/2 size for toe room. Can't say I have any problem with the heel width like the other poster, and I have narrow heels. December 28, 2011

Who is the maker of this shoe? Is it Crocket and Jones? Do the sizes run true or large? Crocket and Jones shoes usually run large and I'm wondering if I should order a hald size down.

Answer:
The maker is almost certainly Alfred Sargent, judging from the nail pattern on the heel.

Answer:
These don't appear to be C&J - maybe Alfred Sargent or even Loake. I returned a pair because the whole heel area bowed out and was loose on me. The length was fine. It's a nice looking shoe.

Answer:
It is not Crockett & Jones. The maker is proprietary information. It runs true to size.
