Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding boots, superb American craftsmanship I bought these on-line after I saw them on display at the Michigan Avenue store. The brown leather is slightly darker in person than the photo on the website suggests, and the pair at the store and the pair that I received had green rawhide laces, not brown laces as depicted in the website photo. But I personally think the boots look better in person than they do on-line. The leather has a rich texture and a strong aroma, which are both pleasing. They are very comfortable right out of the box without much need for breaking in. But after seeing them in the store I ordered a size 8.5, which is a full size down from the size 9.5 I wear in most dress shoes. My sizing advice is if you are going to wear thick winter/hiking socks, buy the same size you would wear in dress shoes. If you are going to wear thin dress socks, order a full size down from your dress shoe size. These boots are expensive, but in my opinion they're worth it. The quality is great, and you will be supporting American craftsmanship. November 29, 2012

Answer:
Our Rancourt and Co. offerings fit quite similarly to the Peal and Co. line and both run true-to-size. The Peal shoes feature both D and E widths, with E being slightly wider, whereas Rancourt is only offered in our standard D width.
