Rancourt & Co., a family owned company in Maine, applies three generations of experience crafting their leather shoes. Their well-honed process of shaping the leather to the last and hand stitching it in place in the time honored moccasin tradition creates a shoe of exceeding comfort and quality. These Venetian styled loafers were inspired by an original pair from the 1960's during the heyday of hand sewn moccasin making in Maine. Each maker during this time had their own signature detail that defined their shoes from their neighbor artisan. Constructed in genuine Horween leather with a leather sole, each of our shoes have the size etched by hand into the upper corner of the tounge, the same defining artisanal mark as the original.
