Tough as Nails / Great Boots! I have been in need of some tough work boots for quite sometime. I own a pair of Red Wing pull ons that I've had for more than 15 years (They've needed to be replaced for about 2). When I saw these Iron Rangers on sale during the SAS I couldn't resist. They are tough as nails. I like that the BB version comes with the lug sole. A nice upgrade from the standard model offered by RW. They do run at least a 1/2 size large but i took this into account prior to purchase. They also take a while to break in but they get there soon enough. Very satisfied. BB, Thanks for offering RW! size is too big as my opinion i wear US 7,5 D in Red Wing , but this shoe only available in US 8 , and the size is quite big even only 1/2 size different ... October 26, 2011

They are water resistant. They arrive with a tin of Red Wing Mink Oil which will protect them even more against water. Don't go standing in any ankle deep water though.

None of our boots are waterproof like a rubber boot. However, the leathers are very water resistant (contain a lot of natural oils).
