These are not fishing boots, as they are "driving shoes" and are not water tight.

These are really light weight and only provide traction on rocks but they are not water tight.

These boots are water resistant. The canvas upper is waxed. The lug sole is bonded, not welted.

I have only had mine 2 weeks and have worn them 4 times, but the color is perhaps a tad bit darker than when I received them. I coat mine with heavy with Leather Conditioner after each use, hence, the reason they are some what darker?
